TIC100 turbo and instrument controller

This Edwards 100W TIC Turbo Instrument Controller can control and power a nEXT85D turbo pump, and is recommended to control nEXT730D, nEXT930D, or nEXT1230H turbo pumps. This controller has support for up to 3 active vacuum gauges and is Edwards part number D39721000. Edwards TIC Turbo Instrument Controllers are a series of 100W and 200W compact controllers which can be used with any Edwards nEXT turbo pump. The TIC connects to, and controls, the turbo pump through the pump's attached DB15 serial cable. Through the same cable, the TIC is able to supply 24 VDC pump power to the smaller nEXT pumps. TIC controllers feature a large, clear graphics display, easy-to-use control interface via a touch sensitive keypad, and a DB9 RS232/485 interface for control and data monitoring on a remote PC with user supplied software. TIC's require 100-240 VAC input power and can be rack mounted or used on a benchtop. The TIC does not come with an input power cable (we suggest part number A50506000). All TIC variants have support for a forced air cooling fan and a solenoid operated vent valve through a Phoenix 4 pin connector (mating end is supplied with the TIC). When connected through the DB25 logic interface to an Edwards Relay Box (part number P106081), the TIC can also control a backing pump, flange heater band, and a 24 VDC backing line valve. TIC controllers are available with or without active gauge control. Supported gauges are APG, AIM, ASG, or WRG series gauges (IGC and Barocel models are not supported).
