TIC relay

This Edwards TIC relay box acts as the control interface between the TIC controller and the mains backing pump, turbo pump flange heater band, and a backing line isolation valve. This relay box does not have any setpoint relays. The relay box can be used on a benchtop or rack mounted alongside the TIC controller. The TIC relay box connects to the the TIC Turbo Instrument Controller with the 25 pin D-Sub, logic interface cable (part number P1012534). The relay box accepts input power from100-240 VAC. The Edwards input (mains) power cable (part number A50506000) is sold separately. Maximum rating for powering the backing pump is 240 VAC@10A, and 240 VAC@1A for the heater (bakeout) band. The backing pump and heater band connections are individually fused. Note that the backing pump and heater band must be rated for the same voltage as the input voltage supplied to the relay box. The isolation valve control has a maximum rating of 24 VDC@0.5A and is energised whenever the backing pump is running. This Edwards relay box has part number D39711805.
